Handwoven by artisan women in Rwanda. These planters are made with raffia and sweetgrass, using a traditional technique that's been passed down through generations. Their vibrant colors and intricate designs, and the fact that they play a part in pulling women out of poverty, make these baskets a best-seller.
This design is perfect for holding a vase of flowers or a potted plant, or even utensils + tools. To extend the life of the product, be sure to use a tray in the bottom, ensuring the planter doesn't get too wet.
This colorway comes in 3 different sizes. The large size is pictured holding a 6" nursery pot, while the medium is pictured with a 4" nursery pot. The small size could also work great as a catch-all on any countertop (think pens, glasses, corkscrew). Plants not included.
